Isn't the conductor (drum major) one of the guys in Crossroads (the bass, I believe)?

It's either him or his twin.

I have watched this production over and over again and am just amazed at the dedication of EVERY member to be the best they could be. It was evident by the facial expression, precision of movement, levels of movement and command of stage. (The singing was superb too)! You have changed men's barbershop forever. You have raised the bar. You must be on cloud nine! Keep it up! I have never had a men's chorus give me chills...until now. Bravo! (A Sweet Adeline fan).

You're forgiven. Not everyone has the sophistication to appreciate the subtleties of that good old american musical idiom, barbershop.

I'd like to see a group recreate the scene in "Casablanca" where the German and French anthems are being sung together. At least I think that it was the German and French.

Yep....the only change I would make would be to make the "instruments" silver...the gold/brass color gets lost in the background and you lose the impact of the horn visuals, especially the ones down front.
