i have a question:
I'm german and don't know if i...
...should buy a mochi maker, which costs arround 100€
....should make it with glutinious rice flour and water
.... or if i should get one of these old fashioned bowls, but i don't know where

Dude I would get a stone bowl or something and make your own mallet. The machine is really expensive. You can do it on a smaller scale by hand.

very cool arigato gozaimasu for the video. I think i will respect mochi more when i eat it, man that is a lot of work.
