"Live" at Stetson's Casino, Henderson (Las Vegas) NV, Aug 2008. 1-Living in the USA 2-Ruby Baby 3-Drift Away 4- 6 Days on the Road... The Digitech Vocalist Live 2 gives great 2 or 3 part harmonies, plus it does more than just "read" your guitar chords. I plugged my laptop in and it "reads" the chord changes from my BACKUP TRACKS, freeing my guitar to riff out and not confuse the harmonizer !! Also, for you piano bar players, it should "read" your piano chord changes (as long as you don't get too fancy-schmantzy). EXTRA BONUS #3- ATTENTION SAX PLAYERS... This is your ticket to becoming an entire horn section all by yourself. Have your guitarist or keyboardist run thru this to trigger the chord changes, and you can play 2 or 3-part horn sections, plus it has a sweet reverb that alone is almost worth the price of admission ! All in all, for under $300, this toy is SUH-WEEEET !!! I'll be placing more demos online.... Rock on ya'll... Jimmy Limo

  • Can it be an extension to our pedals/stompboxes/effect processor etc? with distortion and all... or the guitar must be only plugged directly to it?

  • @JOeSJNr sorry for slow reply... i'd guess plug your guitar directly into it, then run out to your effects boxes and pedals..

  • yeah! paddy is very good

  • Haven't tried the 4.... the 2 is wonderful... It gives 1 or 2 backup harmonies, always on pitch (even if my voice is slightly off). The 2 is also about $200 cheaper and VERY easy to use...

  • sorry for sloooow reply. YES ! I plug my laptop intp it and it "reads" the backup tracks' chords... it should also work if you plug a keyboard in.... IT'S GREAT !!!

  • what you prefer: Digitech vocalist live 2 or Tc Helicon Voice Live? thanks.
