Goal-Setting Activity Clip

Tonya Nascimento and Ashley Adkins created an interactive and engaging way to teach goal-setting using a dart throw activity. This 40 minute workshop was part of a half-day conference run at the University of West Florida. Sixteen graduate students in sport psychology from Florida State University traveled to UWF to present seminars and workshops. Because UWF does not have a graduate sport psychology program, this was educational outreach for students at UWF to raise awareness of sport psychology as a profession. Tonya initiated, promoted, and facilitated the conference, in addition to co-presenting the effective goal-setting workshop.
