Thanks. Those plastic things are useless. They always break. I find the flathead screwdriver that comes with the kit to be more effective at releasing the clips if you are gentle and avoid the top left cable corner. That screen on the inside is hard to spot and good to remember. Its useful to know that the clips you're releasing are on the bottom of the inside and made of metal (aren't they). My advise is be gentle and buy the right kit - IE the kit with a home button and the connections. Thanks

GadgetMenders: I would recommend showing a repair of a shattered screen. The process seems to be trickier. All the small pieces break off and removing the glass seemed substantially harder. My kit worked as advertised and got my iPod back up and running. My only comment is the pry tools seems to be one use only for a shattered screen. Not an issue at only a buck or two...just a comment to all trying to do a repair. For all you Canadian out there shipping is fairly typical at 5-6 business days.

I had water damage to my ipod and replaced the lcd hoping that was my problem but no such luck. From my understanding from a comment before me that I need to replace the Logic Board, is this hard to do?
I replaced my digitizer 2 times both time it didn't respond to my touch . Why?

@DubD221 The logic board is bad. I'm assuming water damaged. Shine a light in the headphone jack port and see if there is a pink line in the bottom. This indicates water damage.

@TheChowchow1995 You can purchase a replacement LCD and this should solve your problem. Installation of the LCD isn't too difficult.
