Mike playing a Dual-Chamber Cajon - outsidetheboxdrums.com

Shortly after attaching the legs to his dual-chamber cajon, Mike plays around for the camera. Even with light touches, the rich tone is obvious from both sides. The drum is only sanded, not yet finished.

hey, I'm trying to make my own, is there anything on the inside??

there's nothing magic inside, but there is a baffle that splits the volume of the drum, allowing for the two different tones. the baffle is the same material as the body of the drum.

This drum is made of 3/4" poplar, with an 1/8" birch head. Thanks!
