No this is Bing Crosby. Bing didnt find his "Trademark" sound, which you hear in songs like Moonlight Becomes You, until around 1939-1940

Accompanied by Paul Whiteman and his Orchestra (and a chorus consisting of Jack Fulton, Charles Gaylord and Austin Young), and recorded on December 22, 1928 {Columbia 1683-D}. Virtually every dance band covered this song on record when it became a hit on Broadway, through Cantor's rendition, in "Whoopee!" [which became a film two years later, with Eddie recreating his stage role]. Manny Klein has a trumpet solo at 2:51.
