The 4040 is overall a different horn than the 4050, i used to have both before i quit

thats so intresting. i never knew there was a name for when it goes off in 3s... i believe you said temporal. i always figured when my school used that for a tornado drill the pricnipal or someone was setting it off manually. just for my own curiosity, why do they call these horns when they make buzzer noises?

MY HS HAS THE 4040 AND THEY USE CODE 3.

@FEDERALSIGNALTECH They must have a DC-AC converter in between the panel and the horns, but it'll still do the job.
