For my particular needs I knew that it would be necessary for me to root my new nookColor soon after I purchased it. I needed something which would read my computer science textbooks for school. Most of these books are in PDF format. I tested the default more here http://p0wnz.com/barnes-and-nobles-nook-color-rooted/

New version of autonooter available http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=872490

  • No, if you have a micro sd to sd adapter you should be able to just insert it into your memory card reader in your laptop.

  • New version of Autonooter out. Some nice additions.

  • Merry Xmas hope you enjoy your gifts.

  • It is still working fine. It has not slowed down. Some may not care for rooting but I desperately wanted a better PDF reader and installed ezpdf a world of difference. Google earth didn't load for me so I assume it is not compatible. But google maps does work and if you own a mifi it will make a good combo for traveling.

  • It must be updated to 1.01. Must!!! For this to work. I was writing an article which would detail that. You do not need to wipe to use autonooter. I was formatting my sd card in the video. Simply update if you have not and then autonooter.
