I want mine to jump into 2nd with some force and smoke em in 2nd and 3rd gears, can I get my tranny re-programmed? Or do I need another tranny meant for racing?

Dude, that is so awesome, simply bad ass. I have a 99 Mercury Mountaineer, its perfect, not a lever busted, not a scratch, not a bulb with issues this thing is perfect for being 2011. I have the V8 302, my problem is it has a tow package and I think the tranny is programmed to shift a certain way, I try to stomp the gas and the tranny seems to slip into second, then I ask my friend a Certified Ford Dealership Mechanic and he told me its programmed that way. Is this true? I want to race into 2nd
