Part of the problem w/Japanese companies in the '90s was bad management. Also in firms w/foreign staff. Some deliberately manipulated the new staff's lack of understanding re: the culture, etc. And then when they left some management still didn't get it.

I wonder if some of the price decreases in commodities - as well as the increased value of the dollar - that we see recently are because of the lack of credit available?

It seems that, when money is easy to get, it's worth less and then things will cost more.

The Big Corporations Love China to use their people as Slave Labor because they cannot don that here in the U.S. and they love selling the Cheap Crap that cost a few pennies back to Americans for a couple of bucks or more. Yep they Love China;s Child Slave labor

I doubt either side is stupid enough to get into a nuclear pissing match. Besides...I think we like China. They certainly seem to like us. What's with this idea that a war will happen?

The United States can go bankrupt,then what would they do, war? We also have nukes and way more military power than China. China has people, but will they be willing to fight? China is going to be broke in a few years and if only 3% of its people uprise, than can take over the government

China could win a war with the United States pretty easily. All they would have to do is sell off all their t-bills, and the United States wouldn't be able to pay any soldiers.

Jim doesn't have to flip/flop because he is such a great judge of human nature and history student;. These a-holes that don't know much are the ones who had to invent underhanded and sneaky vehicles to make money. He has always had that keep it simple stupid way because he knows what he is talking about. Not always correct. No one is. But will always give you a straight , no BS answer. How refreshing.
