:: Extending Your PS3 Range ::

It all started ever since I bought my ps3, it could never get a good signal. Besides playing video games I also whatched (tried) netflix through it, and downloaded game demos. But with its low signal (single digits), downloads sucked (a demo for a 1.5 gig took like 3 to 4 hours) and netflix always kept buffering and could never achieve HD quality on some HD movies. Now I know my router was on the 2nd floor and I was in the basement (Entetainment Room), but my laptop was a bar less then being full. Instead of buying a reapeter or something similar I decided to use my laptops wireless to connect through. So I made this video to show others on how to do this in windows 7 if you are experiencing the same issues.

Now downloads are like 15 to 20 minutes for a 2.7 gig demo and HD movies are actually shown in HD

Buy a universal repeater that will connect to his wifi and increase it like a Hawking HWREN1 Hi-Gain Wireless-300N Range Extender amazon has it

I think any device that has wifi like a cell phone would be good enough, you need to enter the extenders settings so you can choose what connection you want to extend.
