Hi !! I live in Greece, and Vitex is one of my favour bush, The climate here is mild , do I need to fertilize it ? I have also noticed in your video that the soil around the bark are covered my some material , Is it necessary ?

@George888e Hi Sorry it took me so long to reply. You do not need to fertilize it and no you do not need to add a ground cover. We have used the shells of hazelnuts just to help keep the weeds down which flourish here in rainy Portland, Oregon. Thanks for your comments.
