This is mind-blowing. I'm doing some lightweight 2D stuff using the canvas.... this just blows my mind. Looks so professional and well-done. Diablo, baldur's gate... soon we'll be playing games like those right off our web browser!!! I especially like all of the particle effects.

You seem to have pretty low framerate. Other than that, looks good, keep it up ;)

Your'e web got haxed :/
Great work though, keep it up.

I guess you wrote most of this in JavaScript? I feel for you :D

Very impressive!

@TheDjDaveF It actually looks less smooth than it really is because of the dodgy recording software and then format conversion! A lot of flickering happens when moving and there's a few times where particle explosions don't take place due to loss of FPS! Thanks for the comments though :).
Wow! As someone who has developed with HTML5 and knows how primitive it is (although I still love it, and it is the future), this is amazing! Can't wait to see more! What are you using for the back-end? Node?

@dacypher22 Yeah dacypher22, it uses Node.js for the multiplayer aspects. Sadly there isn't any more planned action from this project at the moment. Half way through my masters year at university and loads of work commitments. I really do hope I get time however to pick it back up and continue/improve upon it for a released game one day.

Sweet, I'd kill to see a port of UO to HTML 5.
I mean original UO, before it became complete shit.
This is incredible work, congrats!

Will you be releasing/licensing the engine when it's done?

@ZeroSumCascade so far we aren't sure what we will do with it! Currently starting a small side game with what we have completed so far. But everything is still a bit far off.
