  • Oliver Stone is an asshole! Who else is with me? He fucked up The Doors, and insulted Jim Morrison! Though I do give him some credit for casting Kilmer... the guy looks and sounds just like Jim.

  • JAJAJA This shit is so funny, there weren't explosions and smoke, if you watch the real vid, there weren't those big letters "THE DOORS" hanging from the ceiling, the lighting here is a kinda dramatic and as most of you have noticed, Jim didn't say "much higher" with that tone; and finally, the worst mistake, how dare they use the studio version of LMF??? it doesn't sound realisitic for a live show, they should have used a live track of the song at least.

    An entertaining movie anyway

  • Jim didn't emphasize "higher", but just sang it non chalantly in real life. Ed Sullivan usually shook all bands that played hands, but not the doors and told them they wouldn't ever be on his show again.

  • This is a good movie, but if you want eh facts than i would suggest When You're Strange, which is an actual documentary.

  • its just a word.

  • @GeankDOORS I must agree with almost all you said but if you watch the original performance again you could notice that Jim screamed that part full of energy.

  • I just think of this as Val Kilmer singing The Doors songs :] Cause... Val Kilmers voice is gold. but, Jim's.... of course is better lol.

To everyone that is freaking out, i think Oliver Stone tried to sum up the initial act, or feeling that was going on at that moment. Try to be more open minded.

  • @JokaNapier i agree. most of the movie was pretty good but jim deff didnt have an attitude like that, and he skipped soooooo many other parts of their career not a bad movie tho i guess deff could have been better

  • jakjakak con que es verdad que se le paro!

nena no podrias estar mas colocada? haajjahja que sexy es el ^^

  • Very good movie some parts not happen but good

  • american movies suck they fucked up the doors

  • In all the bad reviews of the Movie Oliver Stone did, I don't what everybody don't like. The movie was fun and I watched it all the way through and gained more perspective than I had before. Val Kilmer brought Jim Morrison up close and personal. I know the exaggerations and ignore them. This movie was about a rock star and covered it well. I like the spiritual aspects of this movie. Jim Morrison was a God!!! And a prophet.
