"BJ" did commercials for Schmidt's beer (in their "Big Mouth" bottle), Butternut coffee (made by Coca-Cola, believe it or not), Chesterfield cigarettes, and countless others. This ad only served to make Maytag's longtime "lonely repairman" Jesse White even more lonely, as he wasn't allowed to do the ad for this product. Poor guy apparently had a massive inferiority complex . . .

That's pretty sexist (no offense Mike).

BJ Honeycutt.. lol

@lraesmith Yeah. And whatever happened to this product anyway? Did it become the "stackable" washer/dryer?
-
@jjp009 did you notice after saying "lots of women...." , he showed where Al Leara put his? I'd like to show Maytag where to put their "anywhere dryer"

What a sexist pig B.J. was in this commercial. Did you hear him? "Lots of WOMEN would love to have this dryer...blah blah".
-
Finally, a vintage Maytag commercial when they weren't owned by Whirlpool!!!!!
-
Why dont I see those now? Is something like this sold now? I want one.

This is how I remember Mike Farrell.
I saw these commercials back in the day.
(Don't figure out my age, LOL).

Mike Farrell appeared in dozens of commercials during the late '60s and early '70s, while filling "supporting roles" in films and TV shows- this is one of his spots, from about 1971.
