Whatever the reasons for his shakiness, be it nervousness or some chemical enhancement gone awry, his material and the way it made us think about things is/was brilliant. When things are slightly askew, kicked to the left a little, when things are perceived under an amber eye - this is the wonderful result. "I wanna be a race car passenger...hey man, why don't you slow down a little..."...

Wanna know why the microphone is shaking in his hands? It's not because he was high at the time, but he had horrible stage fright. That's why he wore sunglasses too.
Anyways, I think this guy was one of the best comedians ever. Sad that he is no longer with us.
