@fredrikmassey well at the time it wasn't so much in terms of its intention to bring more tourists and surfers to bournemouth to bring more money to boscombe and so on but haven't really checked up on its recent progress, good to hear that its a success in some area :)

the thing is, the reef needs SWELL to work and produce quality waves. and that is something boscombe doesnt get very often.

Wouldn’t have been more cost effective to move the town to a decent break?

I live in london and would rather spend my money on petrol and go futher to surf. IF this reef gets sorted i will spend my money in boscombe but till then no thanks i wanna surf

Do you actually read the newspapers? do you actually read the research papers on the reef? the reef is nothing short of an embarrassment, budget doubled, Surf not working, etc etc
