  • What's wrong with equal and free healthcare for everybody? If Americans were educated, we would've had it long ago.

Japans free healthcare, it's the best, the cheapest, they are the healthiest, and live longer than in any other country, and they see their doctors 12 times more.

We've developed weapons large enough to obliterate the world, but we can't figure out how to provide healthcare for all in America.

There are so many rich + greedy people in this country that it makes me wanna puke.

  • @dale3858 Thanks for commenting. I'm always amazed how the words "greedy" and "rich" are almost always tied together. Correct me if I am wrong but most of the rich are also most of the most generous (at least conservatives are) whereas liberals who are rich give very little. Check out Obama's and Biden's tax returns as an example compared to say Bush and Cheney?

  • @dale3858 Your references to Japan's system is purely speculative or opinionated. Where is your proof? I do agree though we are much better at killing then we are at healing.

  • so we run a deficit on healthcare, so what? is it not acceptable? the US are running deficit for much worse things don't you think? don't get me wrong we also do have those "bad" deficits, but in a far less alarming ratio.

we spend around €330B for a 15B€ deficit on healthcare a year, yet you guys are spending twice as much per capita and you can't achieve universal coverage?

the issue isn't even about having a socialized healthcare system, it's about being robbed willingly

  • I Like your take on this actually.

  • @bassawash1 Yes you are young, and you're wrong, the insurance companies are the robber barons, the government is us, you and me, "the people". Americans seem to forget that...

Mr. right and wrong up there happens to be wrong too, he wants to put us back in the stone age rather than even try to move toward a more civilized country that helps it's people rather than condemning them to a lifetime of poverty if they happen to get sick, and let me tell you and everyone else here, YOU WILL GET SICK.

  • @dale3858 You're right. I am young, and I'm not experienced with car hoods. But I am old enough to recognize the mistakes of the generation before me. My knowledge doesn't come from my personal experience; this is the point of education. But people have been arguing about this stuff for many, many years. Healthcare is only expensive because the dollar is weak. Now, the insurance companies are to blame for a lot, but government control will only completely turn medicine over to the robber barons.

  • @bassawash1 So you're university-educated in political science, economics, and constitutional law, yeah, so what! You're 19 yrs old, I know guys that are 3 times your age with PHDs that don't know how to open the hood of their car.

  • @dale3858 You are just misinformed. You see corporatism as free market capitalism, which is not the case. If you studied the Austrian School of Economics, you would understand that any government involvement in the private sector negates the postive effects presented by liberty of choice and behavior in economics. I am not just some punk that knows nothing. I am university-educated in political science, economics, and constitutional law. Do not persue ad hominen against the likes of me.

  • @bassawash1 WTF do you know about anything, you're just a punk kid, and an IDIOT!!! America's medical system is for PROFIT, that means it's a capitalist system, hospitals are in the business to make a lot of money, and most of them do.

  • @rightandwrongradio The stats are at google, google Japans healthcare, it's all there.

  • @dale3858 If you demand a certain level of quality, then you will have to pay for it. The problem is, costs go up when the government finances the service. See the government always inflates the money supply, meaning it takes more monetary value to purchase the same quality of service as before the inflation occurs. This means that you will have to pay infinitley more for the same quality of service. At least, this is true for the U.S, based on the policies we will need to pay for such a system.

  • @dale3858 America doesn't have capitalist healthcare, idiot. The government finances medical programs, whose inputs and outputs hinge upon monetary policy. If the government inflates the money supply, then taxpayers have to pay more money for the same service quality. Since taxpayers aren't keen to such an imbalance, the government seeks out cheaper forms of service. Thus quality goes down as costs increase infinitely. For example, France is almost bankrupt because of financing public healthcare

  • @iwannaseeu2be Yes, I feel everyone should be entitled to healthcare, obviously you have no idea what it's like to need medical help for a chronic condition, I think you are 33 yrs old, you wait, you'll need your Canadian healthcare soon enough, and you won't be bitching when they save your life.Yes, the rich need to pay more, you can't bleed the middle class forever, and the poor have nothing to give. Hey, I'm done arguing with you, we're not getting anywhere because we hate each other already.
