The government is all about making money they don't give a fuck about the people, what do you think they do with all the money and marijuana they have in their possession after all these busts? Why is the war on drugs never ending? Put two and two together, there's your answer. The marijuana industry is a 7.5 billion dollar industry in just BC, Canada alone. The only reason marijuana is illegal is because the government has no control over it, we do business without taxes. The man needs his cut.

I think marijuana were the government to legalize it could eventually become a trade run by large companies that the government would be able to tax. The amount of money the government gets from it as it is, however, is enough to prevent them from putting in the effort to legalize it. Many people don't understand the realities of marijuana, and it's easier to continue with the established falsehoods. That, and if the gov't supported it, there would be a long road before it would yield a profit.

weed may not be addictive but from my own experience i can sure say that it is habbit forming

Saying weed is "Habit forming" and "psychologically addictive" are ways people try to twist logic. TV by this same definition is more habit forming than pot; more people do it, more often, for longer, yet people don't say that the average American is addicted to it. The propoganda has even some users convinced it is true because they take the fact that they had a habit of using it as a statement about the drug itself. Anything fun that fits into your life well has the potential to form a habit!

"Walk Hard: The Dewey Cox Story"
It's a parody of "Walk the Line." I definitely recommend watching it!
