yeah, anyone making fun of these dudes is forgetting that the united states spent almost two trillion dollars trying to defeat them and is retreating from afghanistan and iraq basically bankrupted and with little to show for it. the taliban are going to be part of any post-us-retreat afghan government. i dont really get the attitude here, anyone who has been in the military knows that everyone will fuck up and everything will break at the exact moment when shit hits the fan.

Wars are not decided by kill ratios, buddy. And I'd take claimed numbers of killed insurgents with a ton of salt. Armies almost always inflate their kill estimates. You could likely slash off a zero and be clsoer to the actual number.
