psychobilly was going before Stick Men With Ray Guns formed. In the UK we was listening to what would be called psychobilly by 1980. We had Punk and and Rockabilly running side by side, and youngsters of the time blended the two together, and it happened to be the Meteors who went global with it in 1980 - 81. In 79 I had a massive flat top with quiff, bleached white with pink quiff, bleached pegged jeans and doc martins.
