First: This ain't a competition between two bikes. It's just video where two dude's are having fun!
These bikes are completely different and they both have their good and bad sides so we don't need any kind of competition here!

@TheOezil they are slowly doing away with the two strokes now and moving everything to 4 due to the ecu fuel emissions.

get the yamaha yzf r 125 and then drop the 182cc kit on it ..both bikes are fun to ride on L plates. I had the yamaha befor ei pssed my test 2 years ago.

Now i have a Xj600, it was a great learning bike.

@SubaruWRCS11 wichone is better without tuning? becouse i like the yamaha more cause of the design but the aprilia is faster.. at least in the vids ive seen.. could you help me please?

@olieryan BOLLOCKS. your bikes just slow. get a real bike. your bike does 70mph when your going down a hill, and u havnt eaten and u have just had a shit. and u have trimmed ur toenails.

the aprilia will mince u man, u paid too much for the wrong bike. looks great goes like my nans lawnmower.

change the cdi chip and cylinder and you can buy a turbo kit also

i have a 2010 yamaha yzf 125 cc and i can get 75-80 out of it and takes about ten seconds to reach 60! my mates thrashes me on his 2003 aprillia rs but that always goes wrong! if you want speed i would buy an rs. if you want reliabilty, looks, and that awesome factor get the yzf!!!!!!!!!

@1AOR1 Fair enough, but alot of people who buy 125cc's are looking for something cheap to use everyday. I've riden the RS and hands down its fantastic fun, but using it everyday i'm not sure.. warming it up, 2 stroke oil, i've heard alot of problems with the engine and the noise.. Not an everyday Bike, but fun for sure

@montemini177 I've owned 2-stroke bikes all my life and have never had a problem with them, as long as you look after it very well you will be fine and I don't buy a bike for any of those things, I buy a bike to have fun on and the RS will deliver fun!

@1AOR1 For a few hundred miles then the RS will breakdown or the guy who owns it's wallet will be empty because of the fuel and 2 stroke oil costs.. Yamaha wins for reliablility, noise, cost, practicality, 'everyday use' factor and price

A RS 125 2 stroke will smash the yzf 125 simpley because it's a 2stroke.
