Bad Engine Mount

Ever wonder what a bad engine mount looks like when your driving? This was done in a driveway but demonstrates. Car is a 1986 Buick Grand National.

NOTE: Do not try this at home! Nobody was and ever should be under a car while it's running! The camera was simply propped up under the car and left there.

No torque strap, just original 23 year old mounts. A set of H&R PartsNStuff poly mounts are on the way.

I know my mounts are bad... I was told that I need a new tranny!!! Could the mounts and bad catalytic converter actually be the problem?

This is a great idea ! I'll try to strap my camera so it can shoot the engine mount, take the car for a drive and then examine the video. thanks, man !
