  • I've been making smoothies with a blender and haven't been using a nutmilk bag or sieve to remove the pulp. Do you know if that's a bad thing or will it will do me no harm? I'm guessing it's ok - just makes them a bit harder to drink sometimes. I hope you enjoyed your feast!!

  • raw smoothies are fabulous! They are different than juice though, so they are not suitable for a juice feast. you can do a raw smoothie feast. I think the detox would be slower because you are still dealing with fiber. In my opinion, the speed of detox intensifies when you remove things. Water fast being the hardest, followed by juice, followed by raw smoothies. Green For Life is a great book about green smoothies.

  • Exactly how many different types of things are you willing to juice in order to feast properly?

  • I can't say, exactly, but I think variety is the best way to go about it. Right now I am having celery with butternut squash collard greens and garlic with a squirt of flax seed oil, a dash of cayenne, yellow curry powder and ground cloves. It's really good. All the stores were closed today so I am just juicing what I have on hand. Today I mostly had celery, spinach, collards, apples, tangerines, NaturesFirstFood, carrots and squash. I plan to add to that tomorrow.

  • get onto don tolman and he will explain in detail. get his FDR and your life will never be the same

  • Sounds yummy. I could go for that in raw chocolate form. I used to dislike chocolate until I had it raw. You haven't had chocolate until you have had raw chocolate!

  • Oooooh, they're good. They're these balls of delicious chocolate with this sort of soft innner chocolate center that literally melts in you mouth.

  • I don't know what they are.

  • Do Lindor truffles count as raw?

  • raw chocolate is actually very good for you. Gives me a tummy ache though. :(
