* PLEASE, COMMENT *
Conclusive open-air fragment of Michael Vetter and Natascha Nikeprelevic live concert (12 december 2008) at Vincenzo Bellini Conservatory in Palermo (Sicily) conducting and singing Karlheinz Stockhausen's "Aus den sieben Tagen" [From the seven days] (1968). Vetter himself worked with Stockhausen in late Sixties and Seventies. This poetrical-musical piece marked the birth of so-called Intuitive Musik, a new conception of impromptu music beyond traditional improvisation. Vetter & Nikeprelevic conducted here an extemporaneous ensemble of young local musicians that had previously attended their masterclass about Intuitive Musik. The event was part of "Progetto Stockhausen", a celebration of the German composer that featured also a premiere performance of his orchestra score "Mantra" and a live electronic set run by Domenico Sciajno that mixed up Stockhausen with Aphex Twin [Richard David James], Alva Noto [Carsten Nicolai] e Ryoji Ikeda. "Progetto Stockhausen" was promoted by Amici della Musica association and sponsored by University of Palermo, Vincenzo Bellini conservatory, Curva Minore association, Antitesi association, Goethe Institut and German embassy in Rome. Full review of the event [in Italian language] here: http://www.amnesiavivace.it/sommario/rivista/brani/pezzo.asp?id=432. ENjoy : )
