Does anyone think that Cheney would have hidden these memos for years if they 'backed up' his allegations that torture has saved thousands? This administration was known for lying with no documented facts to bolster their posturing - they bullied so many into believing their unprovable allegations and shut down any dissenters with shrieks of unpatriotism and anti-Americanism. Disgraceful.
