I was born in 1993. I actually wish I went to high school or university in the 90s, because I think life was so much better then. I feel sorry for the kids who grow up in the 2010s. This time period sucks; it's full of agression, awful social media and stupid fashion. I refuse to conform to this. I listen to wonderful music like this and I still don't own a mobile phone and no one can stop me!

Clara I was born in 1951 . I actually wish I was born earlier. Life was simpler then, but we did have our own problems. Despite what is said about those times, things were being fixed , mostly by people who were doing the right thing in quiet ways, It was also a time of great personal excess and destruction with the ripples of it still being felt today. Enjoy what you have now there is no going back. Every thing is subject to eventual change and the ravages of time. Enjoy the music.

I prefer the late 90s myself.

It was basically the same as today, except movies, music, were a bit better. Plus there was that optimism in the air with the approaching millenium (or dread, depending on if you bought into y2k or not).

Sure there were tragedies like the Yugoslavian conflict or the Columbine shooting, but at least there was no "War on Terror".

    I remember this song, (lol)

I forgot completly about it until today, I went to the senior graduation for my friends (I'm a junior),

And this was their song, I'm going to miss most of my friends, I cried when this came on.

I hadn't heard this since 5th grade, this was our song before leaving elementary school.

I was born in 1952. These were the "Leave it to Beaver" days. It was dirtier and grittier than even Beaver Cleaver could have imagined. People fucked. People got hooked on dope. The whole world went to hell in a hand basket. Yet here we are.

I was born in the 50's also, and would love to return to the late 80's early 90's, the music and life was so relaxed as compared to today.. I feel absolutely awful for my grand children,, they can't even play outside by themselves. what has happened to our way of life?

I was born in '48. 60's sucked too with violence but also had great musicians and artists. but overall, every time period has it's ups and downs, so go your way.

Yea, I agree Clara. I was born in 1988 and basically, I have always felt like I should have been a teenager in the early 90's lol
