LM2010 International Awardee: Honduras Human Rights Platform Speech: Bertha Oliva de Nativi

Bertha Oliva de Nativi accepts the Letelier Moffitt Human Rights award on behalf of the Honduras Human Rights Platform.

The Honduras Human Rights Platform includes six prominent human rights organizations in that country. It has strived since the June 28, 2009 military coup to provide the Honduran people with accurate information about their government. It continues to vigorously call on the newly imposed government to investigate the increasing number of murdered journalists and activists, while many Honduran community, civil, and human rights groups continue to receive threats.
