American Music Awards Ladies Fashion Red Carpet Roundup

The music industry was out in full force at the recent AMA awards. We're breaking down all of the red carpet looks from the ladies up next.

Welcome back to ClevverTV's red carpet round-up. I'm Joslyn Davis and today it's all about the ladies.

First up is one of the hottest, most understated looks of the night. And of course it's only understated because many of the looks we saw at the AMA's were very avant guard. Kristen Bell looked amazing in the short, drapy, shimmery white dress she chose. Without the dark nail polish and casual, yet sort of messy, hairdo she rocked, the dress might've been a little too sweet, but her styling kept the look youthful and very rocknroll.

The of course Fergie was right on trend with her dress-the sky-high slit pushed the limits. The black fabric, covered in studded details is totally in right now. Very similar in trend to what we saw both Pink and Shakira wear to MTV's last awards show. Totally fergalicious!

Disney BFF's Selena Gomez and Demi Lovato held things down on the red carpet. Selena's disco-ball-inspired dress was fun and flirty-and her strappy shoes accented the look perfectly. Demi pumped things up with her pale peachy dress. The huge jeweled embellishment at the top of the dress gave it a whole added level of fabulousness. And I'm thinking this might be one of the best looks I've ever seen from the young singer.

But ClevverTV's look for the dress of the night goes to Rihana. It was an easy first place. Only she could get away with and completely rock this dress. Rihanna is following an upcoming trend that we're going to probably start seeing a lot more of. The peek a boo cut outs that covered the intricate gown made it look like a walking piece of art. The fact that it was black on the outside and lined with white gave it an added edge. This look proves what we already know about RiRi's fashion choices-she doesn't follow trends, she starts them.

5. Fergie: she looked good but she went way too rocker, she should be a little more bubbly and feminine.

4.Kristen: Looking very cute and chic and classy, but more suitable for a less formal event.

3. Demi: Dress is a bit too peach and blending into her skin and it's a little too sweet for the event but she looks great.

2. Rihannah looks absolutely gorgeous! Beautifully cut dress with amazing hair.
