You do realise I hope, that the majority of plants cultivated are fed to LIVESTOCK, which we then eat. So even if plants had [1] emotions and [2] could feel pain.. You'd be feeding over 90% of them to animals. So, arguing for "plant rights" as a meat eater is to put it lightly.. quite bizarre, and disturbing.

Hey.. wait a second. Plants are living. Humans have to consume living beings too survive. No living things want to die. What separates animals from plants. They may not have a nervous system, but they are still alive. At the same time, plants can sense light, other plants, and a few other things, meaning that they have what could become a basic nervous system. You never know, one day a plants could have nervous systems, it's just a few mutat... I'm bored...

I watched that documentary about 3-4 months after I became a vegetarian (about 5 years ago) and...it made me want to eat a steak just out of spite. I'm still a vegetarian, but I hate PETA.

Most animals are taken are sick or have broken body parts, the ones who are cured are adopted however the ones who arent are put to sleep. they rarely take in healthy animals most of the times they give it to local shelters i know because i've been with peta before. so dont make random comments, i agree sometimes they make offensive stuff but they arent evil
