@lyingpresident1001 In order to clean up the mess, he need to build up the economy of Maldives by flotation exchange rates, which will reveal the original prices of dollars, however, increasing commodity price is a different issue! It's the businessmen who takes 500% and above profit from goods, never willing to bring this good change to our economy!

And Don't lie! Housing units are currently being built, midterm election was failed because of opposition majority in the parliament!!

@lyingpresident1001 It's not that his vows are never going to be fulfilled! It's just a matter of time. When he came in to the president's office after the first democratic election, whole country was totally ruined! Previous government printed Maldivian ruffiya (currency) fr their own good, had a lot of loans to be paid in dollars, and most importantly, "few powerful rich guys" had the control of dollar circulation in the country.

Nasheed vowed that he would lower the price of the dollar to 10 rufiya(maldivian currency) on the campaign. But it is 15 now. He vowed that he would build 10000 housing units in maldives. But still not a single one is built. He vowed that he would have a mid term election.But still there isn't any. He have gone to more than 192 islands in the maldives and told all the impossible things he can not do.

One thing is v clear thats MDP wants power as much as Maumoon wants to hold on it. Has MDP and its so self proclaimed politicians brought any positive change for maldivians other than so called freedom of expression? 95% of the populations still without proper navigation system, most of the island still have no safe drinking water, not a single university in the country. Still today every maldivian must move abroad for medical treatment! SO wt has this MDP done for common maldivian???
