Life is good - finding all these exquisite nuggets. I found the CD at HMV in the 90´s, but I still have a high-speed recording of it on tape from my friend´s LP....

Manik Rao Popatkar was an excellent tabla player! Unfortunately he was never give the title "Pandit" by the gov't of India, none-the-less, he was an awesome tabla player. His fast teen-taal was especially clean and crisp. I can't find any picture of him on the internet or any bio. Its a shame. I heard he passed away some time ago.
