Playing around with the Wii-mote

Here's a short video of how you can use the Wii-mote as a mouse. It's nothing groundbreaking, this is just to show off a little of what you can do with it.

The dots above the screen are a custom build sensor bar that hooks into the USB port on the back of the laptop. Here's a picture of it:

I connected the Wii-mote to the computer with a USB Bluetooth dongle. All you do is have the software search for devices while you put the Wii-mote in discoverable mode (hold 1 and 2). Then, once connected, I opened up the program GlovePIE and ran my custom mouse script based on the mouse script packaged with the program:

The D pad functions as the arrow keys. I click with A. Plus and Minus adjust the volume. Home is the middle click button.

Holding B changes the functions of the buttons. The arrow keys become page up, page down, previous page and next page. Home becomes the Windows key, and A becomes right click.

im a zbox gamer ..i played and owned all up to the 64nes..i cant forget this guy i was playing once saying the wii will fail and nintendo should just stop.. their doing a nice job i think..still 360 gamer but im not the target. but well done
