I decided to visit Bergen and take the traintrip after seeing this beautiful video. Norway surely has an amazingly breathtaking nature.

I downloaded the movie and it now plays as my screensaver - fantastic.

Thank you for your most-educated guess - which seems very likely! I couldn't find any info anywhere the documentary was promoted (which seemed strange). I would have assumed some marketing person from Norway's tourism department would have made sure the filming date was published, to make sure the varied weather wouldn't scare off summer tourists...and still attract would-be Spring/Syttende Mai tourists. Shh, don't tell, but I was on a glacier north of Oslo in June one year! Thanks again!

I'm guessing here, but from (a) the amount of snow at high altitude (b) the height of the snow line - about 400m? - (c) the vegetation at lower altitudes and (d) the height and strength of the sun, the film appears to have been shot in April (no earlier than late March and no later than mid-May).

Perhaps the uploader can give a definitive answer?

The landscape shown in this video is a part of the Hardangervidda mountain plateau. I'ts in the counties of Telemark, Buskerud & Hordaland in Norway.
