Set in the Orient, Anno 1404 will feature a new interface, bigger islands and worlds to explore, a modifiable sandbox mode and other features new to the Anno series.
Anno 1404 jest to najnowsza część gry z popularnej serii gier strategicznych Anno, którą na targach Games Convention 2008 zapowiedział Ubisoft.

Najnowsza część gry będzie usytuowana w klimacie orientalnym. W Anno 1404 znajdzie się całkiem nowy interfejs, większe wyspy i świat do eksploracji, podlegający nieustannym zmianom, co zapewni rozleglejsze możliwości rozbudowy dla gracza. Do gry ma być także dołączony edytor, który pozwoli na stworzenie własnych map.
