I would be nice if these so called greenies, were honest people,the statements they make are so full of rubbish and false, get your facts right ,i live in the real world not the bambi world these dreamers live in,highest duck numbers on record last count,due to the rains,looking forward to some great duck roasts this year.

Jagerfaust2009 let me tell u something, u say that duck hunting will banned in vic, just like other states. Nsw last suck opening was 1996.that's 15 years ago. Last 8 years Vic has been long drought. And it's still we have a duck opening. So every year u say this will be the last fir hunters fucken bullshit. Wake up dickhead it will never close not in our lifetime. By the way nsw might not have opening but I love shooting them ducks on the rice feilds in October . Guess what where almost there.

@seximac0 re "mcg and why are people on the lake" (lol) People are on the lake to not only disrupt this blood sport (unlike football) but to rescue distressed and maimed birds both ducks and protected species. Swans nests are often violated and eggs discarded for better (sniper) vantage points. Also after bag limits are reached alot of shooters continue shooting just for the thrill. Say what you like but Victoria will eventually follow other states where this practice is already banned....
