Playing with the Fidelity Elite A/S chess computer. The computer says the movements with a voice and lighting leds into the squares. It's a vintage computer but it's very beatiful, made in good wood. More about chess computers world in www.meca-web.es

  • Don't press it hardly, press it 1000 times quickly as a telegraph to wake up it. The problem is a a thin oxide layer on the metal surfaces.

  • I got a Fidelity Elite A/S as well, however, there's an annoying problem with it: The button "game control" doesn't work properly anymore. I have to press down real hard "rubbing" the button fiercely to make the machine respond. Any suggestions what I can do in order to clean the contact below that button? I've already opened the backside, but it is very difficult, if not impossible, to reach the lower part of the GC-button. Pls help! Thx in advance.
