Magnifique vidéo ! thank you we can see the fluidity of contact without over performing attitudes. The sense of play added to the sense of movement in a delightful mutual listening is there also.

Thanks for the video. I've shared it at least 10 times with all kinds of people. A convenient description. It is useful because it is simple and in a studio space comparable to a jam setting, where as a lot of the performance videos online have complex lighting or audience reaction, which is unlikely to have much to do with most peoples experience of CI. peace!

In martial arts, esp JuJutsu, we had a similar form, called Randori. Our sensei described it as "cats playing fighting". Sometimes we also had tasks like "one is a wet passive carpet, trying to keep the other from getting up" etc.

I love you guys.......

Excellent demonstration of the form. Probably the best video I've seen for that purpose (seen 20 or so). Lovely dancing, great music. I'm watching it over again today!

Thank you for your kind words. This was actually a quick project, but, as I mention in the credits for the video, I made it for some teenage students of mine who had never before seen contact, and I believe, really needed to see what it was they were trying to do. Where in the world are you located?
Happy dancing,
Liz

Beautiful, and instructive. I've encouraged our local jammers to watch this (over and over). Thanks for making it, and posting it. Well done!
