Hagler had tons of skill. He didnt have exceptional speed but what a punch,what guts and balls and possibly the greatest chin ever. Look at that neck and those tree trunks for legs. Natural shock absorbers.

@theSKOL1 Hagler is the only fighter I would pick over Ray Robinson. He fought his way to the top and finally got the credit he deserve when he fought Tommy Hearns.

hagler totaly got robbed against leonard. leonard didnt hurt him once and hagler beat him up. i dont get what people liked about leonard. i wish hgler had been around during roy jones and bernard hopkins primes cause he would have fucked those guys up.

I am a big fan of hagler he was the best middleweight of all time and was a no frills fighter no fancyness just a fighting machine . And this fight just summs hagler up just no quit in him , just a warrior never taking a back step. John mugabi was a real toigh nut and gave his all in this fight . Great fighf.

A big big Hagler Fan and to be honest this fight really did take alot out of both fighters, however Hagler was past his prime and was on the wrong side of 30 but as for Magabi - he was sort of stopped short in his prime with Hagler, as he was never the same fighter again after this fight, I really miss these old type middles - they just dont come through anymore - its all glitz an glamour now - enough to make ya Puke up !
