Thanks for sharing! Hearing that delicious audio with just the car and sans any commentary is most appreciated.
I've driven one just once and it was a huge treat. The clutch was the heaviest I've dealt with in my life - not even a 512BBi was as tough. But just working it up through the gears made my heart race and palms sweat like an instant high.
S does stand for 'spyder', and B does stand for 'berlinetta' (little sedan, I believe). The original Sonny car in Miami Vice WAS a Ferrari but was too temperamental for film use on a regular basis, so a replica, V8, was substituted. It may have been a rebodied Corvette. No windwing is a giveaway....
It's in the way you type it. It may not accept it if I type it correctly here. You have to use code, or change it a bit here otherwise youtube won't accept the web address, so try again. Double u double u double u dot MIAMI-VICE dot org. It's in the Cooper&Burnett scrapbook section! Ferrrari rules! So does MIAMI VICE!
A true mechanical masterpiece! Still unequalled in looks, style & classiness! . . .

It was a Corvette kit originally as well... The only real Daytona was yellow and used in the episode "One Way Ticket"...
