  • I once was stoned when I listened to this. It affected me so much that I know study Earth Sciences in an attempt to save the world.

  • So what if global warming is a myth/unproven/straight up not real? It's made us all have an opinion on it and its made us more aware of the planet.

If we lived in a more sustainable, greener and economical world because of it, regardless whether it's true or not, surely that's a good thing?

  • The facts are simple. Humans are putting a lot of greenhouses gases into the atmosphere, greenhouses gases raise the global average temperature which creates more intense weather, including storms and droughts. These are simple facts. The implications however are more difficult to analyze. As a species we're quite ingenious and adaptable though, so there will be solutions. Unfortunately we're also selfish and a lot of people will not benefit from these solutions.

  • @guitarwally1 I once was stoned when when I listed to this. I graduated with a degree in Finance.

  • @garutkowski I think it is certainly overrated. Watch the documentary, "The Great Global Warming Swindle."

  • @RevDAre I guess it would be better for the developed world but not for the developing world if it creates expensive regulation which hinders growth and prevents people from coming out of poverty. Just my opinion. Taking care of the environment is a good thing but should not be the priority particularly for poor states.
