Gladiator: Sword Of Vengeance was a hack and slash game from Acclaim Entertainment. At the time many big third person action games like BloodRayne and Prince of Persia were enjoying major success. So Acclaim decided to join the genre with their own third person hack and slash action game Gladiator: Sword Of Vengeance. The game was a mild hit. In 2006 Canadian game publisher Throwback Entertainment acquired the publishing and development rights for the Gladiator franchise. ThrowBack has talked about making a new Gladiator game for the next-generation of game consoles though a specific system was not announced.

  • Sorry but can you change your armor or customize your characters things like that?

and are you always on the Arena or then you have to fight in a War or something like that, in simple words : ARE YOU ALWAYS GLADIATOR ?

Sorry for a lot of questions but I need to know if the game worth the price lol

TIA ( thanks in advance )

  • Well, I cannot answer your question because I never finish the game (too hard for me), but I think if you search more videos about Gladiator Sword Of Vengeance in here, you will found out if this game worth the price or not.

  • Your good- very good actually

  • shadow of rome is better

  • Well I can't say witch game is better, but this is pretty nice too, I actually enjoy playing it.

  • @2Gavi i love both games! XD they are both awesome, niether is better. we can all without a doubt say, the best ps2 games of all time

  • they need to make a one on one fighting game with a gladiator battle style system

  • Oh this is like Gladiator: Begins for PSP, right?

  • we just enjoy killing these gladiators and its very easy game.

  • If only there was a way to play Shadow of Rome on the PC

  • Actually a very good game, only problem I had with it was that it was too short and the boss fights were underwhelming. Otherwise it looked great for it's time and was one of the better beat 'em ups I played that wasn't a side scroller. It didn't rip off GoW or Ninja Gaiden because it came out around the same time, it was just well thought out design and so damn satisfying to play. One of Acclaim's best was one of their last.

  • @vespaman101 i saw my friend playing it on his 360

  • @midgetking101 wow... yeah its for ps2... it came out like 7 years ago. And the gameplay was great. Maybe you dont remember what games used to look like 7 years ago. But this was pretty good and this is only showing the intro to the game. This is like a tutorial mode before you leave.

  • @vespaman101 it looks like its for the ps2. and the gameplay looks fucking homo!
