  • waaaaa.....

  • Super you always give a lot of info! Was wondering why noone ever says what kind of chair to use? Should you be higher or even with the treadles? how close to the wheel should you be ? IF it makes your hip hurt is that related to the kind of chair you use or the height? Or the wheel? Are 2 treadles easier to use? Thanks for any help Love your vids!!!

  • I love her

  • *L* :D

  • maybe when you graduate, you should marry me then. i'm a little younger than you & i live in the states. but we could work it out. we could even have another kid. he or she would would be brilliant, strong, beautiful & resourceful. i promise

  • there are a lot of us who are trying to learn these skills. the modern techy world is great, but 3 emp's and it's gone. how many kids today know that popcorn can be made at without a microwave? i am teaching my kids how to enjoy the tech but to not forget that people lived quite well before the advent electricity as an energy source. :D my kids know how to cook without a box being involved in it. they can sew,my girl can knit. we're learning how to hunt w/ crossbow's also.

  • don't get me wrong, i know some people like this still exist but for me, a very urban man, they are few & far between. somehow my parents did a good enough job letting me understand the necessity of these skills (or at least the theory in them). i guess it sounds a little nutty to be concerned that i'd be mentally ready after the apocolypse. but i'd like to think that while the lunatics are amassing guns, i'm colleting seeds, making soap & devining water. but patti is charming as HELL. y'know

  • aw that's so cute, but yes i was just thinking how many people that know how to do all this great stuff still exist.
