I was wondering what it would be like to be in a tall building during that storm. I'm surprised you could see the ground and other buildings. When I drove home from school, sometimes I couldn't see a car-length in front of me.

I think the white out would have been worse on the ground because of all the blowing snow. But the wind up here was crazy.

I didn't go outside at all that day, except briefly to take out the trash. The next day, both the Public and Catholic schools were closed (I am an educational assistant), and my eleven-year-old friend Emmett invited me to come over and play.

OMG!! I remmember that like yesterday I was almost Trapped at school luckly my friends dad took me to thier house we got trapped at their house.

my kids school let my 10 yr old walk home from school, like 5 blocks, i'm glad she made it home, but i was pissed off

Man, I remember this day like it was yesturday. All the students stopped school and played games, and you wernt aloud to leave the school unless your parents came so me my brother and my friends brother and sisiters sneeked out a back door, crossed a field but had to wing it cause we couldn't see ANYTHING!
