Here we are in the last week of October in Macomb Michigan. It should barely hit 50, but today (as was true of most days this October of 2007) it has been peculiarly warm. Just last week it hit 92 degrees! So here we are enjoying the second to last day of Fake Summer. Tomorrow it will be close to 80, and from then on, we will struggle to hit 50. Bye bye Fake Summer!
It was October 21, 2007 and it ended up hitting 82 degrees that day. Earlier in the week, Tuesday the 16, I believe, it was 92 degrees. Our climate has changed. Summer is now July, August, September, and into October. It usually doesn't get warm now until late June. And then winter drags on. Pretty much December to the end of March. But, you really never know what to expect here in Michigan. Now in 2008, April was very warm and dry, but May has been cool, cloudy, wet, damp, rainy.
