The sad truth is that Saddam received a lot of support from a lot of different sources.

This documentary does focus on the history of US complicity in particular and the extent of it is absolutely horrifying.

It disgusts me to know that our leaders are such greedy manipulative and addicted to money and power bastards. Repulsive how one can turn a blind eye to all of the destruction and hunger that takes place all over the world and blame it on those who are the victims themselves. It is no wonder the west is shut off from the truth through a puppet media. Repulsive.

makes me laugh bush always talks about "saddam gassed his own people" but when asked where did they get the gas from silence!!! we gave them the gas and showed them how to use it and and how to cause the most death point two when he did gas the kurds why did he? because its a fact the cia tried to get them to overthrow him he caught them also where did these mountain people get brand new m16s from?

Watch Noam Chomsky videos. He's probably the worlds leading expert on US foreign policy, having read much of the declassified government documents including those from the Homeland Security Department and the CIA. His books contain all the citations you need to see the documents yourself, and I have followed up a few to see. I think you will be more than a bit surpised by what is in the public domain from the US government.

No this can't be right. The US only supports good guys, never any bad ones. And the US only fights for democracy not OIL. Lastly the USA does not torture anyone, all those secret CIA prisons in foreign countries was just hotels for guests.
