  • The psychological aspect is extremelly important. Cortisol and adrenaline is responsible of managing stress, but if the mind is not set properly, you will have down/up-regulation of these stress hormone, which can cause PTSD (post-traumatic stress syndrome) or MDD (major depressive disorder). This further on can damage the hippocampus of the brain which regulates memory and slow down stressful events.
