Just a vid of me playing my Squier VMJ Fretless, plugged into my Eden Nemesis RS210 combo, DI'ed out to my Roland board; no effects. Say what you will....

  • great jammin man

How heavy is that bass ???

  • @666patrickbateman666 I don't know what exactly it weighs, and it's made of Agathis, if that's any help to you. It doesn't feel heavy, even after a night of gigging.

  • Great sound man!

  • @pleximanic Thanks!

  • Really great.

  • @e33State Thanks!

  • hey man nice playin, im about to buy this bass and im wonderin does it still play great when the neck shine and everything wears off?

  • @LukaaaasMusic If you want something sounding more like an upright, I would recommend using flatwound strings. I notice that when playing closer to the neck it helps with sustain. The fellow in the video is going for a Jaco Pastorius feel and tone, which is cool but not too acoustic-sounding in my opinion. Hope this helps.

  • would you recommend it to someone who wants to buy a class bass because he's playing on a squier starter bass for years ? I like the upright bass sound of this one so much that I'm thinking of buying a squier again instead of a fender ..

  • nice socks

  • How is the weight on those basses?
