The Bellingham Peace Vigil was started almost 50 years ago by Howard and Rosemary Harris. Over the course of decades, the vigil has seen generations of peace activists and concerned community members, mirroring the history of Whatcom County and the world. In this short video produced by Don Scott, Marie Marchand, the Executive Director of the Whatcom Peace & Justice Center is interviewed, along with notable vigil-attendees including Lifetime Peacemaker Award-winners Doris Ferm and Dotty & Alfred Dale.
